Bleaching

Face veneers are used on the top surfaces of decorative plywood. Putting face on ply is directly related to the aesthetic look and physical properties of the finished product. Teak face veneers are widely used, have thickness of 0.1 – 0.3 mm for this purpose. These veneers come with several water-mark, fire-mark and green-stains. On the other hand, some teak veneers are inherently dark in colour. These in-turn reduce selling price of their final product. Thus, colour of the teak veneer to be made brighter and stains/marks to be removed.
